# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It takes just 10 minutes and requires almost no cooking skill—perfect when you want to impress without stress
  • The bright, fresh flavor tastes like you spent hours on it, but the truth is way simpler
  • It works with everything: vegetables, chips, crackers, or even as a sandwich spread that makes ordinary bread taste special
02 -
  • Don't skip the resting time if you can help it. Those 30 minutes are when the individual flavors stop being separate and become a conversation. It's the difference between good and genuinely memorable.
  • Use the finest lemon juice you can. One time I used bottled and the dip tasted flat and chemical. Fresh lemons cost pennies and change everything.
03 -
  • If you want the dip to hold a peak when you scoop it, drain some of the liquid from your Greek yogurt first by putting it in a cheesecloth-lined strainer for a few minutes. This makes it thicker without making it heavier.
  • Make this dip the day before serving if you can. The flavors deepen and round out overnight, becoming even more delicious than when they're fresh.
