- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Cut each apple into 5 thick slices (about 1/2-inch each), removing seeds and core. Insert a wooden stick into each apple slice, pushing it about halfway in to secure. Pat apple slices dry with a paper towel to ensure the coatings stick well.
- Warm the peanut butter in a small microwave-safe bowl for about 10–20 seconds until slightly runny.
- Unwrap the caramels and place them with heavy cream in another microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth (about 1 minute total).
- Dip each apple slice first in peanut butter, spreading evenly with a spoon or small spatula. Next, drizzle or dip with warm caramel, letting excess drip back into the bowl.
- Immediately sprinkle with your choice of toppings while the coatings are still sticky.
- Place finished pops on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to set. Serve chilled or at cool room temperature.
